The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches, but reveal to them their own.

Supervision & Mentoring
Supervision for LPC and LPCC
I am a Minnesota Behavioral Health & Therapy Board Approved Supervisor and can provide supervision for any person working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota.
My counseling and psychotherapy experience includes working with individuals and couples in an in-person and/or virtual setting in my private practice. Supervision is available in-person and/or virtually within the rules and regulations of the Board.
While my approach is fundamentally Adlerian, I incorporate mind/body skills along with integrative complementary and alternative healing approaches in supervision as well. Supervision is often experiential to include the use of self as the therapist.
My rate for individual supervision is $60 per hour. Dyad and group supervision are offered at the same rate with supervisees dividing the cost of my $60 hourly rate.
Coach Mentoring/Supervision
I am a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) offering health coaching in Minnesota. I provide health coach mentoring and/or supervision to those who practice health coaching in Minnesota.
My health coaching experience includes working with individuals and groups in an in-person or online setting. I received a health coach masters’ degree from the University of Minnesota Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing where I was a co-instructor for the Health Coaching Practicum course from 2013-2018. In my role as Practicum instructor, I mentored and supervised health coaching students while they coached members of the public for the first time as part of their training requirements for either the health coaching certificate or the masters’ degree.
While not required by law or regulations as in other health care professions, health coaches benefit greatly from regular mentoring/supervision. Seasoned coaches, or those with a light client base, may want to meet monthly while new or novice coaches see great advantage to weekly or bi-weekly mentoring/supervision. A mix of individual and group mentoring/supervision is a good practice. It is also beneficial for health coaches to have access to emergency mentoring/supervision (ideally within 24 hours of an event) where needed, to have an opportunity to process a situation or event of concern or impact.
As your health coach mentor/supervisor, I support you in your development and learning to advance delivery of high-quality services. My mentoring/supervision includes some teaching and a focus on providing quality services within the coaching scope and standards of practice along with lots of encouragement and support. Our sessions provide a safe environment for you to reflect on personal coaching practices, help you to grow confidence to provide health coaching with creativity and effectiveness, develop a greater understanding of your personal strengths and challenges in your role as health coach, and review your continuing development of health coaching skills aligned with professional standards. Our mentoring/supervision sessions are often experiential to include the self as the coach.
I provide virtual and in-person mentoring/supervision both for individuals and groups.
My rate for individual coach mentoring/supervision is $60 per hour. Dyad and group mentoring/supervision are offered at the same rate with mentees/supervisees dividing the cost of my $60 hourly rate.
